'Thanks for coming over,' Daphne Dare says to her best friend, Alina Lopez, as they enter the bedroom. Alina says it's no problem -- so what's up? Daphne says she landed the female lead in a school play, but now she's freaking out over a pretty important scene, revealing that the scene she needs help with includes a romantic kiss. She admits she's never kissed anyone before, and is afraid she's going to be laughed at in front of the entire school.Maybe Alina could... help her with the kissing? Alina's shy about it, but agrees to help her friend, nodding and asking if they have to go over… lines, or anything. Daphne says she has her lines down pat, it's just the kiss that needs to be worked on now, so... Even so, Alina still insists on having the script so that she can do some back and forth with Daphne leading up to the kiss.They begin rehearsing. 'Oh, Damian! I can't imagine a life without you!' Daphne recites, playing up an emotional moment. 'Well, now you don't have to,' Alina recites in a gruff, manly voice. 'It says here that we then sweep each other into our arms, embracing tightly, and share a passionate kiss,' Alina continues. 'Yeah, that's the part I'm having trouble with...' Daphne admits with a blush. 'Even the embrace? We hug each other all the time!' Alina exclaims. 'Yeah, but not like THIS!' Daphne insists. 'It's just hard to figure out how to make it look smooth and natural. It's gotta be believable!' Alina suggests they stand up and they'll practice with the hug, too.The embrace is a little clumsy at first as they both learn where to wrap their arms around each other. Their bodies are pressed close, their eyes meeting. Something is sparked between them and the hug lingers too long. 'Oh, right, we're supposed to kiss now!' Alina laughs, then pulls back. Maybe they should start again from the top, Daphne suggests, it might help to lead all the way up to it.The two girls rehearse the lines a second time, though when it gets to the kissing part, Daphne pulls away, wondering if they should be doing this after all. Alina tries to soothe her, reminding her that they're both 18 -- they're old enough to do a lot more than kiss by now! Taking a deep breath, Daphne finally kisses Alina, but it's only a quick kiss on the lips. They then take their time kissing properly, the kisses gradually becoming more sensual, and it's clear that the girls have forgotten all about the rehearsal.When Alina, caught up in the moment, starts to touch Daphne's breasts, Daphne pulls away, looking flustered. Alina apologizes, saying that she thought it added authenticity to the scene. Surely the characters would be trying for some over-the-shirt action by now! Daphne is still flustered, thanking Alina for her help, though she thinks she got the kissing thing down now.Alina looks crestfallen, saying that things are awkward now, aren't they? She was worried that'd happen if they got too into it. Daphne tries to assure her that all is well... It's just that, well, it's embarrassing, but now she's totally turned on. She can't stop thinking about jumping Alina now, she can't concentrate on the lines or the play or anything else! When their eyes meet again, though, Daphne's voice trails off. There is fire and excitement there.
